The Americans put English into the Philippines from the beginning of the 20th century. Right now, in the Philippines there are nearly 10 different languages. In nearly 50 years in the U.S., Americans forced Phil to speak English to communicate, trade, political,... Phil has the right to fight it in different ways. But most of them learned English to be able to use English very well.
The American dollar has less than 50 years while the Spanish "owns" the Philippines to 3 centuries. So why did Phil not speak Spanish? The simplest reason is that by Americans encouraging the Filipino to learn English for economic purposes, not to force the Filipino to change religion.

In recent years, when learning english is becoming increasingly popular ,many people wondering that where to learn english to get the best result.It is not an amazing thing when people say that learning english at countries which use english as national language can promote studying english on the most effective,but it is not the only way. In my opinion, I totally agree with this statemnet because of some below reasons .
The first reason is when learning in an english speaking country that make an very effective studying environment.It can be seen that people can use english every time every where not only in their english class.This helps them to think about english much more and can speaking english naturally in normal life.Along with speaking english is improved clearly as well as other english skills such as listening,writing and reading.A general trend that is they might get difficultly at the first steps,but it can become a dynamic to help them overcoming and get target quickly.
In addition to this reason that living in english speaking country will make english learners know much about the native culture,so they can easily find topics to communicate with foriegners if their work asked.That makes them use english more effectively in the both normal life and work.
However,there are many countries that have quality english language courses.These courses have many native teachers or good teachers in their own country .It can be truly said that this courses can also bring too much knowledge for english leaners to get their english target,although this needs more efford and time.
From all things concerned above,we can see that depend on everyone conditions,english learners can chose learn english in an english speaking country or their own country. However,if one person have economic and time conditions,they should go to learn english at english speaking country to get best result
