I'm writing from the most beautiful and incredible place in the world that I have ever seen during my 15-year career as a travel writer in more than 70 countries. I'm writing to you from Ha Long Bay in Vietnam.

There is a saying that if you have not visited Ha Long Bay you have not yet been to Vietnam. I say that if you have not visited Ha Long Bay you have not yet seen the most beautiful place in the world.

180 km from Hanoi City, towards the northeast, it takes around 4 hours by bus due to the speed limit, and then you will arrive to Ha Long City and the wonderful Ha Long Bay.

1969 limestone islands of various shapes, sizes, and in different green and amazing colors rise above the sea level in an area of more than 1,500 square kilometers that creates this World Heritage site. Ha Long Bay still retains its historical and culture values.

The guide told me that Ha Long Bay has been twice recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1994 and 2000, and also that Ha Long Bay is in second place in the worldwide competition of the World’s Seven Natural Wonders. I told him that before all, God has given the Vietnamese people this wonder for their kindness.

Ha Long Bay is as attractive and beautiful throughout the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Traveling on small sailboats among hundreds of limestone islands, one may visit the amazing Surprise Cave, the floating fishing village, and see how the locals live are top of the list of things to do here. On Titop Island, one may swim and relax on the beach or enjoy a kayaking program to the nearby Luon Cave and much more.

And what about the important question of where to sleep? Syrena Cruises and other cruises are offering wonderful programs. A luxury cruise from the harbor and across Ha Long Bay, has 34 luxury cabins and suites each with a balcony, as well as restaurants and a meeting room on the 3rd deck. Travelers may experience Asian or Western cuisine, precisely sea food, and also have a session with a massage therapist, unwind in the sauna, take a sunbath and relax on the expansive deck, experience squid fishing, movie night, and a cooking demonstration.

Other attractions during your stay in Ha Long, beside exploring Ha Long Bay itself, if to visit the Royal Park in Halong City, Water Music, a circus performance by dolphins, sea lions, crocodiles, and much more.

The experience of visiting Ha Long Bay is unforgettable, where you will see something that will stay in your mind and eyes for years. You will enjoy meeting Vietnamese people and tasting their delicious food, you will have fresh air all day and night, especially if you wake up early in the morning and watch the sun rise on the deck coming slowly through the islands.

Be sure not to miss visiting Ha Long Bay in your lifetime. Just try to watch images and videos of this stunning and marvelous place and imagine being there experiencing the beauty and kindness of Vietnamese people. You will be booking your trip in no time.

Seven Natural Wonders of the World

Love 37 Hate 3

The Seven Natural Wonders of the World weren't made by humans, but were created by Mother Nature. Learn more about these amazing natural wonders!

Seven Natural Wonders - Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is a rocky gorge (ravine) in Arizona, USA. It was created by millions of years of wind and water erosion from the Colorado River, which cut through layer after layer of sediment. The rocks of the canyon walls range from 250 million years old at the top to over 2 billion years old at the bottom. Each layer of rock represents a distinct geological period of the Earth's past.

Seven Natural Wonders - Paricutin Volcano

Paricutin Volcano erupted out of a cornfield on February 20, 1943. Located just outside a city called Michoacan, about 200 miles west of Mexico City, Paricutin grew to 10,400 feet in just nine years, making it the fastest growing volcano ever recorded in history. Lava flows destroyed two villages and hundreds of homes, but caused no fatalities (although three people died from lightningassociated with the eruption).

Seven Natural Wonders - The Harbor at Rio de Janeiro

On the east coast of Brazil lies a picturesque scene of towering mountains andbeautiful beaches. Portugese explorers were the first Europeans to see the Harbor, also known as Guanabara Bay, on January 1, 1502. They thought they had reached the mouth of an immense river and named it Rio de Janeiro, which means River of January. Landmarks include Sugarloaf Mountain and Corcovado Peak, which is the site of a gigantic statue of Jesus Christ.

Seven Natural Wonders - Northern Lights

Northern Lights, also called Aurora Borealis, are nature's fireworks. This spectacular light show takes place in the northern regions, but can be seen from many parts of the world. They occur when solar particles from the sun collide with gases in Earth's atmosphere. The collision energy between the solar particle and the atmospheric gas is emitted as a photon (light particle). When there are many collisions, you have an aurora - lights that seem to dance across the sky.

Seven Natural Wonders - Victoria Falls

On the African border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, the tranquil Zambezi River suddenly plummets 420 feet over a cliff to form the world's largest waterfall. Victoria Falls has five different parts - Devil's Cataract, Cataract Island, Main Falls, Rainbow Falls and Eastern Cataract. David Livingstone, a Scottish missionary, was the first white man to see the waterfall in 1855. Although he named it after the Queen of England, native Africans continue to call it Mosi-oa-Tunya, which means The Smoke that Thunders, because the water makes thunderous spray clouds as it falls.

Seven Natural Wonders - Mt. Everest

About 60 million years ago, India was a separate continent that rapidly moved northward and collided with Asia. The crash pushed up the northern rim of India to create the highest mountain range in the world known as the Himalayas. Mt. Everest stands above the other mountains at 29,035 feet, making it the tallest on the planet. Thousands of people have tried to climb the treacherous mountain (it's 97 degrees below freezing!) - more than 700 have succeeded, but at least 150 have died trying.

Seven Natural Wonders - Great Barrier Reef

The world's largest coral reef is located in the Coral Sea off the coast of Queensland in Australia. It stretches over 1,400 miles in length and can be seen from space. An estimated 1,500 species of fish and 350 types of coral live and grow on the Great Barrier Reef.hihi

THAM KHẢO Ạ:

The National Day 2/9 is the speacial day of our country. All of people are joyful, glad and have a lot of exciting plans like as : visitting Uncle’s Ho moselium, going to the movie theater or places of entertainment ... I just had a interesting trip in the Bat Trang pottery village on that day. But It must took two hours to go from here to there, therefore that juorney really made me very tired. We leaved at 6.30 am. It may be quite early. Because when we arrived there, a few stores still hadn’t opened yet. Finally we decided to go to the pottery nearly. Making pottery is the work which requires cleverness and creation. At the first time when I have seen the potters rotate the throwing and make potteries by their hand, I did think that it’s very simple to put the clay body on the turntable of throwing then control of your hand cleverly to create the shape you want. but I were wrong, in fact, if you‘re only careless a little your pottery’ll be out of shape. What a pity! I also tried to make a cup myself and it had never finished. In the pottery, I sudden heard a sound “ Hi! Are you PTIT?” I looked up realizing that sound of Leo( another member of ELFs). That is real a interesting amazement in my trip. We had talked to each other happily. After an hour, we went to paint statues. There were a lot of people like this art game. I must tried so much to get a sit and choose a statue I like best. Almost people concentraded all their mind on painting so much that they didn’t know everything around them. I chose a lovely frog. It seems to be quite like the one in my inventory of our forum. I painted it as carefullly as posssible. How hard the choice of colours was!. Eventualy, I made up my mind to paint the body’s frog in the green; the feet and hands in yellow, the mounth in red; the cheek in white and had more some red dots. Wao! I thought it was very cute!. I like it so much!. If you see it, you ‘ll certainly like it as me.When we came back the the Bat Trang pottery market. There were a lot of people there. Most of the stores always crowed with buyers. The ceramic wares there were very plentiful and multiform which attractted the attention of domestic customs as well as international customs. With me the imperessional potteries were ceramic pictures, vases, bracelets, belt, ear-ring…and a lot of art statues which I had never seen before. There were many cute and lovely ceramic wares suitable of the girls. So It seems the girls like shopping there rather than the boys. I also bought a few lovely things made me pleasure. Speacial I bought a vase and a bundle of beautiful-decorated chopticks for my mother . I ‘m sure she ‘ll like it.About 2 pm, we took a bus and come back home. That was a wonderful day. I’ll remember that interesting trip forever.

Yes, I do like travelling. I have many dream destinations and to be honest I wish to travel all around the world. However, the one that always comes to my mind first is...Bora Bora Island, a dream island.

Bora Bora is the place, where you can forget about everything: worries and everyday routine issues, and enjoy the genuine beauty of the God blessed nature. White sand, beautiful lagoons covered with different exotic plants and flower, and rich submarine, clear water… can you just close your eyes for a minute and imagine…soft breeze touching your face and bringing different interesting smells, you are walking alongside the beach and waiting for the sunset to fix it in your mind for a lifetime… it is amazing…I have never been to Bora Bora, but I strongly believe and I can assure you it is an unreal and at the same time real dream destination!

Summer vacations are the best time to relax and enjoy with family and friends, it’s the time I eagerly waited for every year. This year’s summer vacation is so special to me because it was the first time I’ve been on a trip with my classmate. We had a wonderful time in Vung Tau – the city which has most beatiful beaches in Vietnam.

We stayed there for 2 days at a small but convenient hostel. First day, we got up early to see the sunrise on the beach. It’s the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen. Then we swam and lay down on the sand to enjoy beautiful sunlight and the clear blue sky. We also enjoyed delicious seafood and drank fresh coconuts.

The next day, it took us about 30 minutes to hike up the Small Mountain to visit the Lighthouse. But it was really worth the try! The lighthouse affords a panoramic magnificent view of the whole of Vung Tau and is a really interesting site. On top of Small Mountain, there is the enormous 28m figure of Jesus gazing across the East Sea. This is the largest sculpture in the Southern Vietnam. The two shoulders of the figure are balconies, each able to accommodate up to six people, which offer a splendid view of the surrounding landscape.

The weather during the time we stayed was really good and the local people were friendly. We took many photographs to save our memorable vacation and bought a lot of souvenirs, too. I just had so many good memories of that whole trip. Everything was great, but what made the trip even greater was the fact that I was able to bulid a stronger relationships with my classmate
