My dream home would be on the ocean, well not on the ocean but beside it with a white sandy beach. The house would be an A frame backed against a hill. The upper floor would be a half floor master bedroom with a kingsize water bed and ensuite with a hot tub and sauna. The front wall would be glass with a stairway coming up to the bedroom. On cloudy nights you could watch the floresents in the waves coming into the beach while you went to sleep. Other nights you could counting the stars in the western sky.
On the main floor would be the kitchen-dining room combination, with all the newest appliances and an island in the middle of the kitchen with the stove top and hanging pots and pans over it. The sink would be under one of the windows. Under the other window would be the nook for family meals. Between the kitchen windows, which look out to the field where the horses would be enjoying the warm weather are the cupboards. The dining room would have a six chair pine table set and hutch china cabnet. There will also be a three piece bathroom off the kitchen. The living room is in the front with the big front window. The fireplace is on the side wall with small long windows overlooking the driveway to the road a half mile away. The three piece sectional is perfectly positioned to watch the sunset into the western sea. The basement has the laundry room at the back with sewing machine for mending before folding and taking clothes upstairs. Half of the front of the basement is a guest bedroom with ensuite and small fridge and two element stove. The computer room is also at the front of the basement. Both have views of the beach and sea. Opposite the laundry room is my husband's workshop. I don't know what he has in there as it is his domain. In the garage at the side of the house is our wine colored 94 Toyota Crasada and my husband's hog. We often ride the bike along the beach on warm evenings to visit friends.

The beach is a place where you can relax. Hearing the waves crash against rocks is soothing. The sun makes you want to sleep(under an umbrella of course so you don't get sun burned). The cool ocean breeze cools you off and the clouds block out the sun's harmful rays. The beach is also a place where you can have fun. Swimming in the cold ocean water cools you down after a hard day's work. Playing in the sand might get a little itchy, but you'll manage just fine. At the beach you can fly a kite because you get a nice ocean breeze. Being at the beach makes me happy because it means I get to smell the nice aroma of steaks and hamburgers being grilled on a barbacue. It means I get to swim in our nice cool ocean waters. It means I get to cover my sister in sand when she's sleeping. It means I'm going to have fun.
Sometimes, it is important to spend time with family and the best way of it is to have a family picnic! Last year in October we went to my uncle’s house in Delhi. Some of my cousins also live there. During the staying, we all decided to go Okhla for a picnic.
We gathered all the necessary articles and set out. We were all in a jolly mood. We reached the nearest bus stop. Luckily we didn’t have to wait for too long, there came a bus bound for Okhla. We boarded it. Within a half an hour we were at Okhla. We crossed the bridges over the canal. We were now on the bank of Yamuna.
It was a very beautiful sight. The river Yamuna was flowing majestically. The water was making its way gently into the canal through the sluice-gates. We spread our carpet near the river and began to enjoy the scene.
The day’s exertion sharpened our appetites. We, therefore, took our lunch which my aunty had prepared. After the lunch it was time to relax. We all lay down flat on the carpet, to chill out. After that I played cards with my cousins. The card game lasted for long, though my sister had the victory. Now it was getting dark. We all had some tea at a shop and then set out for home. We had to wait for sometime at the bus stop. Soon our bus arrived and we reached home within forty minutes.
I enjoyed the whole day with my family. It was a great experience as we get very few chances like this and I am eagerly waiting for such day come again.
I love listening to music. Because listening to music will make me have a relaxed mind and relieve stress and fatigue after working and studying. Listening to music also helps me understand the author's emotional levels, know how to compose that song the author has to go through. I like to listen to sad, melodious and emotional songs the most. Usually I listen to Vietnamese songs but sometimes I listen to Chinese and Japanese songs ... And the songs I like best are: The devil comes from the paradise of China. Vietnam, Japan's hazy moon... because those are very good songs.
Last summer, I had a picnic with my family in a park.It was a beautiful day: the blue sky, the warm weather. Before a day, my mother and I went to the supermarket to buy some supplies such as toothbrushes, clothes, food and water for the picnic. The next day, we went to the park by car.At the park, my dad and my brother tent while my mother and I were cooking some dishes such as rice, meat, crab soup,....for lunch. After lunch,my father read books,my mother listened to the radio,my brother and I walked around the park to sightseeing, there were many wonderful views, the green trees, colorful flowers, and so many birds and butterflies,it's really a wonder ! My family had a beautiful picnic time together and I will never forget that memorable time

On Sunday, Ba invited Liz to join his family on a day trip to his home village about 60 kilometers to the north of Ha Noi. The village lies near the foot of a mountain and by a river. Many people go there on weekends to have a rest after a hard working week.
The journey to the village is very interesting. People have the chance to travel between the green paddy fields and cross a small bamboo forest before they reach a big old banyan tree at the entrance to the village.
Liz met Ba's family at his house early in the morning; and after two hours traveling by bus, they reached a big old tree.Everyone felt tired and hungry, so they sat down under the tree and had a snack.
After the meal, they started to walk into the village for about thirty minutes to visit Ba's uncle. Then, they walked up the mountain to visit the shrine of a Vietnamese hero and enjoyed the fresh air there. In the afternoon, they went boating in the river and had a picnic on the river bank before going home late in the evening. It was an enjoyable day. Liz took a lot of photos to show the trip to her parents.
"I wish I could visit your village again some day," Liz told Ba.
"You'll always be welcome here, Liz," Ba replied.
