Amidst the immense mountains and forests of Lam Dong province, Dalat, a beautiful town, captivates all those who have been there once. I am one of those.
Dalat is often called the City of Eternal Spring. Flowers of all colors, with many species, the most numerous of which are orchids. More than anywhere else in Vietnam, Dalat sees flowers vie with one another in blossoming in spring. I used to get up early in the morning on fine days to welcome dawn on the highlands. Opening the windows, I had a breath-taking view of nature, and enjoyed the fragrance of wild flowers carried by the clouds, I felt relieved in my heart.
In the late afternoons, I often reserved for visits to the Valley of Love and Sigh Lake covered with quiet pine forests. Twilight on Dalat also brought many pictures and sensations. As a certain poet said, “Dalat is the city of honeymoon, the city of love”.
After two week is rest in Dalat, my health improved a lot. I think in the very near future Dalat will be Switzerland in the South-East Asia. The wind rustling through the pine forests, the roar of waterfalls, the chirping of birds and the clatter of horse ‘s hooves…all of these unforgettable memories always remain with me.
Each person has their own interest and nothing gives me such a great pleasure to travel around. Among the places I have been to, the trip to Mai Chau (Hoa Binh) with my class is the most deepest impression on me.
I got on the coach at 1pm and it took about 5 hours to reach Mai Chau. It is a stunningly mountainous region of Hoa Binh province, in the heart of a beautiful valley. My friends were all well- dressed together with a sweet smile on their joyful faces and made full preparations for an overnight trip. After the tour guide introduced generally about schedule of the trip, my class played games and had a talk with each other to leave all strains behind and started a new journey. On the way, we stopped in Thung Khe pass to take a rest before heading to Mai Chau. I immersed myself in the charming scenes to admire the magnificent views of mountains as well as enjoy the cool and cloudy weather there. At 6.15 pm, we arrived in Mai Chau and walked along a small road to go into Lac village. The image of carefully constructed stilt houses immediately amazed me so much. After having dinner at a small restaurant, we followed the tour guide to reach a large empty space to play games and organize campfire. Our class had a truly relaxing and joyful evening with each other. On the next morning, we were allowed to visit Poom Cong village to discover unique culture of ethnic minority and the traditional customs of the local. In addition, I was strongly impressed by warm welcome of Thai people; they were simple, amiable and hospitable. I also had a chance to put on the outfits of Thai people and saw beautiful patterned cloth in bags, blankets, cushions and other lovely items produced by Thai girls with skillfulness and diligence. Before leaving, I bought some souvenirs as gifts for my family and relatives.
After a day full of happiness, we prepared to return home. It was such a short but specially meaningful trip that connected us and our youth altogether.

Last traditional Lunar New Year, my family organized a trip to Cambodia, and it was an exciting trip. We did not go by airway; instead we chose to go by long-distance bus. After about 10 hours of sitting in the bus, we finally came to Xa Xia border which was located right next to Ha Tien. It was my first time out of the Vietnamese territory, and the religious atmosphere at Cambodia made me feel very impressed. After crossing the border, we spent about 3 more hours on the bus before reaching a small coastal province called Sihanouk. My parents were tired after a long trip, so they decided to have a rest at the hotel. However, my sister and I spent the entire afternoon wandering in the local markets. We bought a lot of interesting things, and what I most was the delicious durian. The atmosphere there was hotter than Vietnam, so we could only comfortably go sightseeing when the sun completely disappeared. Right in the center of the town is a giant golden lion statue - Sihanouk's symbol, and I noed that almost every major building here has a casino. Early in the next morning we boarded the ship to move to Korong Salem Island, and this was one of the most famous islands in Cambodia. After about 45 minutes on the boat, Korong Island appeared as a paradise beach with white sand and green coconut palms. The water there was crystal clear and as calm as a swimming pool. We spent a whole day swimming and playing along the beach, and we only had lunch when the sun began to shine brightly. The next day we visited some famous pagodas, and the trip ended late at night. Although I had to travel for a long way, but I feel this trip was worth it. Experiencing a new culture in Cambodia is a really exciting thing, and I hope I have opportunity to visit more countries.

On the occasion of the fourteenth birthday, my mother let us go to Sword Lake. A famous beautiful scene.
Today, the clear sky is silhouetted against the lake. Birds took turns singing special songs. She walked smoothly, making everyone feel comfortable. After thirty minutes of bon bon on the road with my dad's motorbike, both my mother and sisters could feel the Sword Lake was right in front of our eyes, Mother and we walked together for a walk around the lake. Then I came here. It's Sunday, so many tourists come here and each one has a unique way of thinking about Sword Lake. Also in the eyes of the children, Hoan Kiem Lake is a giant mirror of Hanoi city. I have heard the story of a grandmother telling the story of King Le Loi returning the sword to the tortoise god Kim Quy. My mother and I chose the best place to see the Turtle Tower. Ancient and majes Turtle Tower stands on the green mound of grass floating in the middle of the lake. Mother said that someone had seen the old lady on the mound and since then everyone considered Turtle Tower to be the palace of the tortoise Kim Quy. Mother also said Turtle Tower is also a witness of our country's history. It has witnessed our country being invaded, has witnessed our country liberated and is now on the rise. It is also the first place to place the red flag with the yellow star of the Democra Republic of Vietnam. Connecting Guom Lake to Ngoc Son Temple is The Huc Bridge, which is curved a shrimp and is also the only bridge painted in the final, sleek red. The end of this special shrimp tail is covered with leaf gates made from cool old trees. Right in front of the temple gate is a beautiful line of words written by Nguyen Sieu, a famous Vietnamese prodigy. Close to the left of the temple gate is the towering tower of tower which according to many people still write good deeds every day of the sky. Going closer to the temple, we can still see the Tortoise bigger than my teacher's desk. For the elderly, Hoan Kiem Lake is not only beautiful but also because it is a place with fresh air by the multi-thousand-year-old tree, the willow girls shampoo their long hair daily. Sword Lake is even more jubilant when you come on the Tet holiday this because the flower beds are arranged in colorful letters everyday. Tourists can also eat ice cream at Thuy Ta's house, which in our funny way is the palace of King Thuy Te.
The clock on the roof of the post office reported six o'clock, and my mother and I rushed home. Right on the way home, I thought that Sword Lake was a precious landscape that we need to preserve for all generations to come

One country that I’ve never been to is New Zealand. It’s located in the Southern Hemisphere, on the continent of Oceania, and its nearest neighbor is Australia. It is quite far away from where I live, so I haven’t yet had the chance to visit. I would to go there in future, though. This year I will be too busy working but maybe I will get the chance to visit next year, or the year after that.
There are many reasons that I would to visit New Zealand. For one thing, it looks a stunningly beautiful country. Its natural scenery seems captivating to me, and I’d love to travel around seeing the mountains and rugged coastline. In these places, there are many amazing animals to see, and I’m a big fan of wildlife watching. In addition, New Zealand has a long and fascinating history, which I’d to explore.
New Zealand seems a good country to visit for those reasons, as well as because it is a modern nation with a good tourist infrastructure. People there speak English, which is also a bonus.

She’s tall, slim and especially she has a beautiful long black hair. She always smile thus everyone consider her a friendly person. My mom loves every members of the family with all her heart. She agreed to be a household woman instead of working out. My mother takes care of the household chorces. She wakes up earliest in the morning and goes to bed latest in the night. And during the day, she’s very busy. I remember once when my mother got sick so nobody did the house work and everything went to crazy. From then, my father and I join hand to help mother whenever we have free time. She’s really happy about that. When I was a kid, mom taught me to play piano at each weekend. I still remember the songs which includes many childhood’s experiences. Not only taught me to play piano, she also taught me to be a better human. I love the moral stories that she told me before I fell asleep every night. We’re really appreaciate mother’s effort, patient and her hard work to conserve the family’s happiness. My mother is an indispensable part of my life. When I grow up, I want to be a woman like her.

Most of the time my father works away from home, but he always tries to arrange time for our family. At home, Dad often help mommy with housework, cleaning, watering plants, ... and take care of our study. My father and I have the same hobby as swimming, so we always go to the swimming pool near the house to make out who swim better. Besides swimming, he is also gifted in some other sports such as football, badminton, table tennis, basketball, etc. In my eyes, he is also a wonderful friend and teacher. I share with him a lot of happiness and sorow, even the secret. He always llistens, feels sympathetic, and gives me useful advice. Thanks to him, I also learn a lot of good skills such as repairing electrical appliances, driving a motorbike, fishing ... The summer before my junior year in high school, my family and I took a trip to a completely new world. Being from a small town, I had never really been exposed to the elements of a large city such as New York City. My trip there was like discovering an entirely new way of life that I had only heard stories of previously.
For about the tenth time the morning of the flight, I checked my room to make sure I didn’t leave anything essential behind. My stomach was doing flips as we arrived at the airport and made our way to the gate. It didn’t get much better than this: I watched through the window as the runway zoomed by and the buildings and houses became smaller and smaller as the plane gained altitude. An exhilarating feeling overcame me as I realized that I would soon be in one of the most amazing cities of the United States.
As we stood waiting for a taxi outside of the airport, it was immediately apparent to me that New York City was not the same as New Caney, Texas. It seemed like everyone there was in a hurry to get to another place. The loud and constant sound of cars honking was heard throughout the entire trip. As soon as a car seemed to be going slower than the person behind him liked, he would hear the horn of that car to let him know that he was apparently holding everybody else up! When we found our hotel in Times Square, I noticed that it wasn’t just the cars that were in a hurry. Everyone in the streets was walking at a brisk pace that indicated a rush to be somewhere. The transportation of the city was also far different than anything that I had ever been exposed to. In my little town, a bike, a car, or even walking was perfectly suitable for getting around town, but in this foreign land, there were many more ways for one to get to another destination. Everywhere you looked, there were people hailing taxis, waiting on buses, rushing underground to the subway stations, walking frantically, or desperately trying to maneuver their own cars through the busy streets. Just standing and watching the many people rushing their own separate ways was an interesting observation.
In addition to the people and transportation, the buildings were also an incredible sight. Each street was crammed with buildings that were built side by side with no room in between them, and a number of skyscrapers were present throughout the city as well. I was awestruck again as we went inside some of these buildings such as the Empire State Building and made our way towards the top. Standing outside of one of the top stories of the Empire State Building was awesome. I could hold the entire city in my hand from this view. I could even see Ellis Island a distance away from there. The stores were also large compared to the ones of my little town. A small retail store in New Caney would be a huge store that took up an entire building in New York. This would make it seem logical that the prices of everything in New York were almost triple those back home. It was as if the little peaceful neighborhood where I lived was magnified by 100 to make up the wonder city of New York.
My visit to New York City was a life changing experience. For the first time in my life, I was exposed to a little taste of what the real world is like. The incredible modes of transportation, the huge skyscrapers, and all of the thousands of people made me anxious to grow up and perhaps move to an incredible city such as this one. Either way, my first trip to New York was one of the most incredible experiences of my life, one I will always treasure.

I came to Hanoi on an autumn day, and my first feeling was the feeling of a peaceful space, not in Ho Chi Minh City. That feeling was overwhelming all my soul when I was walking along Nguyen Du Street and enjoying the Milk flower. Why was it so beautiful here? In the early winter night, in slightly cold spread hoarfrost, sitting on the bank of Thien Quang Lake, whether at the other side, I still smelt its perfume. I walked along the street and dropped myself in a sweet smell of Milk flower, the wind blew my hair, and I felt so great.
Milk flower on the streets of Hanoi goes deeply inside the memories of Hanoi people and all visistors who have come to Hanoi. It also goes into the music, the poetry, movies. Those are some good ways to introduce Milk flower to everybody. For me, means of communication such as internet or TV are the best ways to introduce Milk flower for all over the world. It is simple when everyone looks at all wonderful pictures or images of Milk flower, they will want to come and enjoy it. In Japan, they have cherry blossom, in Netherlands, they have tulip…How can we know about it? That is all thanks to means of communication. We must let them know that in Hanoi, we have Milk flower. Therefore, the things we need to do now are we should have a website about Milk Flower with pictures, clips, songs, poetry in many languages (if we can)… or we can hold more activities which relate to Milk flower. We must have some more activities to advertise this kind of flower. That was what I think when I saw Milk flower for the first time.
I love Hanoi. I love the early cold winter nights with Milk flower’s smell. I hope Milk flowers will be grown more on Hanoi streets. Milk flower is a precious gift that nature gives to us, especially to Hanoi, our beloved capital.

During the past summer vacation, three for me to go out of Dalat a week. It is a reward for you because you are three tried and achieved academic honors outstanding students.
Three children are fully prepared for this trip. Since a few days ago, bought three tickets at the Center for Fire Vietnamese tourism. Friday morning, off-site parking mother, father and son up off the road. The car was close enough, he signaled the driver honked travelers know that the upcoming hours drive.
True 5 hours 30 minutes, the car leaves the station. City at dawn really clear, cool. On the road, people and traffic is sparse. Out of town, turn to highway vehicles I and began to accelerate. I sat by the window seat so spoiled roadside scenery.
Soon, the car has to fork to Dalat. From Highway 20 bends runs between an immense blue of the rubber forest succession.
Each time a different landscape. Car up the slope, to pass continuously. There are very high pass and tens of kilometers long. He drove calmly and skillfully drove through the craggy path, dangerous, high mountain side, one side is the abyss. Passengers seemed very assured, completely relying on the steering wheel of his proficiency. Some people head on the couch sleeping.
Three o'clock in the afternoon, the car was to the territory of the city of Dalat, famous tourist destination in the country. From a distance, I saw the hill after another.

The further into the near cities, more attractive scenery. IN! It was a strange scene unfold as in a fairy tale. Among the pine trees, looming pointed roof houses, red tile roof that looks like the mysterious castle.
