ocated in the Gulf of Tonkin, Ha Long Bay may be the most beautiful destination in Southeast Asia.
Acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1994, Ha Long Bay is considered one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature by global poll. The name Ha Long, which means descending dragon, comes from an ancient tale. In the story, there was once a dragon descending from the sky and dropping thousands of pearls which later became islands and islets with different sizes and shapes that emerged from the water surface. Some of them possess distinctive shapes like Trong Mai islet, Oan islet, or Ga Choi islet. These became the main attractions when sailing around the bay. Some famous islands like Co To, Tuan Chau, Ti Top, and Quan Lan have breathtaking views of emerald water and unspoiled sand which have become the best destinations for most foreign and domestic visitors.
In addition to more than 1,600 islands and islets, there are many splendid caves and grottos scattered around the bay such as Thien Cung, Dau Go, Luon, Sung Sot caves and more. Those have become well-known all over the world for their spectacular beauty and outstanding geological value.
Visitors coming to Ha Long Bay can also have a variety of cruise itineraries to choose from. They vary from visiting grottos and caves to going to some fishing villages like Cua Van to experience the life of local fishermen on floating houses and enjoy fresh seafood prepared right on the ship.
Vietnam is a beautiful country with a wealth of natural resources and diverse ecosystems. One of the best ecotourism destinations in Vietnam is the beautiful Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. This stunning park is located in the central region of Vietnam and is home to some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the country.

Apart from the caves, visitors can also explore the magnificent jungle-covered mountains that form the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. The park is home to several unique animal species, such as the Saola, which is one of the rarest and most enigmatic mammals in the world. Visitors may also encounter wild elephants, monkeys, deer, and many reptiles and birds native to the area.
There are also many hiking trails within the park for visitors to explore. The most popular hiking trail leads to the Hang En Cave, which is a site of beautiful natural pools, breathtaking waterfalls, and limestone cliffs. Take about a famous place ( historical place/ place of scenic beauty that you know
=> The most beautiful city in Vietnam? This is a difficult question, as each place has it's charm. I think Nha Trang is the most interesting city. Nha Trang is one of the 29 most beautiful sea bays in the World. It is a clean and beautiful beach with blue water and white sand. In the city center, the life is very busy. There are a lot of busy streets with shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets,…Besides, there’re some quiet and dreamy streets. The possibly most beautiful street of Nha Trang is Tran Phu Street along the seaside. You can walk along the street to relax after hard day at work. I usualy go around the city with my friends, ex: going out and eating, drinking, listening... Nha Trang city is also a place, which attracts many foreigners from other countries.Although I go away, Nha Trang is always in my heart forever.
