William Henry "Bill" Gates III (born October 28, 1955) is an American business magnate, investor, author and philanthropist. Bill Gates is a very important person in the computer world. He is also the richest person in the USA and in the world. How did he do it? While Bill was going to school, his father went to college and became a successful lawyer. From this, Bill learned that you have to work hard if you want something. His mother was a very busy teacher, but she also enjoyed going to parties. From this, he learned that you have to make a schedule if you want to work hard and play hard. At the age of ten, he finished reading the scientific dictionary which contains over 10.000 pages. After high school, Gates attended Harvard University but dropped out in 1975 to work full-time on Microsoft, which ultimately made him the world's richest self-made billionaire.
