When I first started learning English ten years ago, I could not hardly say a word – ‘hello’, ‘thank you’ was just about it! I went to class two evenings a week and I was surprised at how quick I made progress. During the course, we learned lots of vocabularies and studied grammar rules. The thing I enjoyed most was able to practice to speak with the other older students in my class. Two years lately, I went to England to study at a language school. It was Cambridge. I did a three-weeks course at a very good school and I stayed with a local family.  It was a fantastic experience and I picked out lot of new languages from speaking with my host family and with other students from all in the world. I really improved my pronunciation as well.  When I got back to Spain, I was much more confident. I could actually held a conversation with my teacher in English.

These things prevented me from enjoying the beautiful sights of the city. I also remember the time I studied in Melbourne. Once I was so busy with my assignments that I did not tidy my room for two weeks. Looking at the messy room caused  me so much stress that I did not to study. Then I decided to clean the room and put my things in their proper places. I also bought a small plant and placed it in a corner. These simple actions increased my motivation and helped me focus on my learning.

I also remember the time I studied in Melbourne. Once I was so busy with my assignments that I did not tidy my room for two weeks. Looking at the messy room caused me so much stress that I did not want to study. Then I decided to clean the room and put my things in their proper places. I also bought a small plant and placed it in a corner. These simple actions increased my motivation and helped me to focus on my learning.

Ô nhiễm thị giác có ảnh hưởng lớn hơn đến mọi người hơn bạn nghĩ.
Tôi nhớ khi tôi đến một thành phố nước ngoài, tôi thực sự sợ hãi vì có quá nhiều hình vẽ bậy trên tường của các tòa nhà. Sau đó, tôi nhìn lên và thấy rất nhiều đường dây điện trên đầu. Mặc dù chúng không nguy hiểm nhưng tôi vẫn cảm thấy bất an vì tôi nghĩ chúng có thể rơi xuống. Những điều này ngăn cản tôi tận hưởng những cảnh đẹp của thành phố.
Tôi cũng nhớ thời gian tôi học ở Melbourne. Có lần tôi quá bận rộn với công việc nên đã không dọn phòng trong hai tuần. Nhìn căn phòng bừa bộn khiến tôi căng thẳng đến mức không muốn học. Sau đó, tôi quyết định dọn dẹp phòng và đặt đồ đạc của mình vào đúng vị trí của chúng. Tôi cũng mua một cái cây nhỏ và đặt nó ở một góc. Những hành động đơn giản này đã làm tăng động lực của tôi và giúp tôi tập trung vào việc học của mình.
