Hiện nay, ô nhiễm môi trường đã và đang là vấn đề nhức nhối trong toàn xã hội. Ô nhiễm môi trường được hiểu là tình trạng môi trường sống, hệ sinh thái của Trái đất xuất hiện những chất độc hại, chất bẩn gây tác động xấu đến sự phát triển của tự nhiên và con người. Đi cùng với những tiến bộ trong khoa học công nghệ, ô nhiễm môi trường nổi lên như một hệ quả xấu mà nguyên nhân chính đến từ ý thức của chính con người trong xã hội. Cụ thể, qua các phương tiện thông tin đại chúng, ta có thể thấy tràn ngập các con số thống kê, hình ảnh chân thực về hiện trạng ô nhiễm ở cả môi trường đất, nước và không khí. Hầu hết rác thải sinh hoạt, chất thải công nghiệp, hóa chất đều không được xử lí triệt để mà thải thẳng ra sông, hồ, biển hoặc chôn xuống lòng đất; khói thải trực tiếp vào không khí. Tất cả những điều đó đều gây ra hậu quả vô cùng nghiêm trọng, đặc biệt là hiệu ứng nhà kính và băng tan, đe dọa đến sự sống của không chỉ con người mà còn của toàn bộ giới tự nhiên. Có thể khẳng định, nguyên nhân chính của tình trạng này là do ý thức bảo vệ môi trường của con người quá kém. Vì vậy, ngay từ bây giờ, chúng ta cần có các biện pháp mạnh để cải thiện ý thức người dân, cải tạo lại tự nhiên và giảm thiểu đến mức tối đa lượng rác thải, khí thải bởi bảo vệ môi trường là bảo vệ cuộc sống của chính chúng ta.

Tình trạng ô nhiễm môi trường trên trái đất đã chạm đến mức báo động vì vậy hiện tại những giải pháp cấp thiết từ chính phủ cũng như sự hợp tác của mỗi cá nhân là vô cùng quan trọng. Điều đầu tiên nói đến, những hoạt động công nghiệp được coi là nguyên nhân chính cho việc ô nhiễm không khí. Cùng với sự nóng lên toàn cầu, sự đốt cháy những nhiên liệu hóa thạch, các phương tiện xe cộ và các nhà máy đang làm ô nhiễm không khí bằng sự thải ra những khí độc hại. Điều thứ hai, sự phá rừng bừa bãi cho việc sử dụng đất, lạm dụng phân bón và sự thải ra những chất gây ô nhiễm như túi bóng hoặc những túi không thể phân hủy xuống đất đã ảnh hưởng nhiều đến hệ sinh thái và dẫn đến sự ô nhiễm đất. Điều này đã để lại những ảnh hưởng tiêu cực lâu dài lên hệ thực vật và sự phì nhiêu của đất. Những giải pháp cấp thiết để làm giảm tác hại của ô nhiễm môi trường và giữ gìn môi trường cần được đưa ra sớm nhất có thể. Chính phủ có thể quản lí quá trình xử lí các chất độc hại của các nhà máy lớn vì vậy họ có thể ngăn chặn những chất ô nhiễm ra ngoài môi trường. Hơn nữa, những quy định và luật lệ nghiêm khắc hơn đối với sự khai thác rừng có thể giúp bảo tồn môi trường tự nhiên. Các cá nhân cũng cần phải có trách nhiệm và nâng cao ý thức về việc bảo vệ môi trường. Tóm lại, ô nhiễm môi trường đang nhanh chóng trở thành một mối nguy hiểm với toàn cầu, ảnh hưởng trực tiếp tới cuộc sống của chúng ta, và vì lợi ích của môi trường cũng như của công dân trên toàn thế giới, chúng ta cần chung tay bảo vệ ngôi nhà chung của chúng ta- trái đất.

Enviroment is the most important thing for our life. Enviroment is the air we breath, the water we drink and is everything we need for our life. But now that most important thing for our life is being polluted and by many different ways. This pollution affects the health of living things. Air is damaged by car and lorry fumes, and power stations create acid rain which destroys entire forests and lakes. When fossil fuels i.e. oil, gas and coal are burned to provide energy for lighting, cooking etc. they form polluting gases. Not only on land but also in the sea, oils spills pollute sea water and kill marine life; chemical waste from factories and sewage works, and artificial fertilisers from farmland, pollute river water, killing wildlife and spreading disease. Everything is being caused by human’s existence. Humans create such a lot of rubbish! Each household produces about 1 tonne of rubbish every year! Most of this is taken away by dustmen and buried in enormous landfill sites or burned in incinerators - both of these actions can be dangerous for the environment.
But only we can change it and solve it. Pollution can be prevented by thing we do everyday. First we can use recycled paper to help save trees. Second try to avoid buying plastic. It's hard to recycle. One way to cut down on plastic is to refuse to use carrier bags. If we can’t avoid buying plastic bags, we should use re-use plastic bags over and over again, until they wear out. Finally we should take your old clothes to charity shops, some are sold. To protect environment we also have to save energy. Use less energy by switching off lights when rooms are not in use, not wasting water; don’t forget to switch off all electric things when they are not in use, use a bicycle or walk instead of using a car for short trips we can save energy, keep clean atmosphere and keep healthy life. Lighting accounts for 10 percent to 15 percent of the electricity bill. However, this amount can be reduced by replacing an ordinary 100-watt light bulb with an energy-saving bulb and we still trying to invent the new thing to save money as well as conserve the Earth’s resources.
Keep clean environment isn’t only all ways are mentioned before but also to protect natural resources. That is the way to conserver wild life. First we need to conserve the old forest, rainforest, build more safari and national park, and plant more trees to make place to live for wild animals. Second we need to prohibit hunters who hunt animals too many out of the law allowance.
Finally, we now know that enviroment is the most important thing for life and we know how to protect and use it scientifically. Everyday we invent and find more and more way to protect enviroment. I hope that in the future the earth will be cleaner

Environmental pollution is the status of environmental contamination by chemical, biological ... affect human health, other living organisms.Environmental pollution is caused by humans and human management.
The main types of pollution :
- Air pollution : Smoke and dust discharge chemicals into the atmosphere. Examples of toxic gases as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, cloroflorocacbon substances (CFCs) and nitrous oxide are of industrial waste and vehicle
- Water pollution occurs when surface water flows through the domestic waste, industrial waste water, pollutants in the ground, and groundwater seepage.
- Soil pollution occurs when soil contaminated with toxic chemicals (concentrations exceed normal limits) by the activities of man as active mining, industrial production and use of chemical fertilizers Study or too much pesticide, ... or leaks from underground storage tanks. Most common types of soil contaminants are hydrocarbons, heavy metals, MTBE, herbicides, pesticides, and chlorinated hydrocarbons .
- Radioactive Pollution , Noise pollution , Light Pollution ...
Affect :
+ For human health : Air pollution can kill many living organisms including humans. Ozone pollution can cause respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, inflammation of the throat, chest pain, breathlessness. Water pollution causes approximately 14,000 deaths per day, mainly by eating contaminated with untreated water. Chemicals and heavy metals contamination in food and drink can cause cancer. Oil spills can cause itching blisters. Noise pollution causes hearing loss, hypertension, depression, and insomnia., causing serious consequences .
+ For ecosystem :
- Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides cause acid rain can reduce soil pH.
- Contaminated land may become barren, not suitable for crops. This will affect other living organisms in food webs.
- Smoke and fog reduce sunlight that plants receive to make the process of photosynthesis.
- Invasive species that can compete and occupied habitat for endangered native species, thus reducing biodiversity.
CO2 generated from the factories and passing vehicles also increases the greenhouse effect. Earth on a heating up. Gradually destroying the natural resort where it is available.

Môi trường hiện nay đang bị ô nhiễm nặng nề bởi chất thải của các khu công nghiệp, rác thải sinh hoạt, khói bụi các phương tiện giao thông... Với nhịp độ gia tăng dân số và tốc độ phát triển công nghiệp và hoạt động đô thị hoá như hiện nay thì diện tích đất canh tác ngày càng bị thu hẹp, chất lượng đất ngày càng bị suy thoái. Đối với nguồn nước bị ô nhiễm làm giảm độ đa dạng sinh vật trong nước. Ô nhiễm nước có nguyên nhân từ các loại nước,chất thải công nghiệp được thải ra lưu vực các con sông mà chưa qua xử lí đúng mức; các loại phân bón hoá học và thuốc trừ sâu ngấm vào nguồn nước ngầm và nước ao hồ; nước thải sinh hoạt được thải ra từ các khu dân cư ven sông gây ô nhiễm trầm trọng,ảnh hưởng đến sức khỏe của người dân,sinh vật trong khu vực. Ô nhiễm môi trường không khí là do khí thải của các nhà máy, khí thải từ phương tiện giao thông làm cho không khí không sạch hoặc gây mùi khó chịu, giảm thị lực khi nhìn xa do bụi. Như vậy, môi trường bị ô nhiễm là đe dọa đến cuộc sống con người. Chúng ta cần đánh lên hồi chuông cảnh báo để thức tỉnh mọi người, cần chung tay bảo vệ môi trường.

Environmental pollution has become a controversial issue that puts severe pressure on our rhythm of life. The pollution on Earth has reached such an alarming level that immediate involvement from governments and individuals collaboration now are of great importance. First and foremost, industrial activities are considered to be the main cause for air pollution. Along with the global industrialization, the burning of fossil fuels, motor vehicles and factories are contaminating the air by their emission of harmful fumes. In the second place, pervasive deforestation for land use, overuse of fertilizers and the dumping pollutants such as plastic or non- biodegradable packing in the ground has affected the ecosystem and led to soil pollution. This puts bad long- term effects on vegetation and soil fertility. Serious attempt to relieve the effects of pollution and preserve the environment need to be made as soon as possible. Governments can monitor the exhaust purification process of large factories so that they can prevent dangerous exhaust from the environment. Moreover, stricter regulations and laws against forests exploitation can help preserve pristine environment. Individuals should be responsible and raise awareness for the protection of environment. In conclusion, pollution has increasingly become a threat to the globe, directly affects our life and for the sake of environment and all citizens around the world, we should work hand in hand to protect our friendly house- the earth.

Ô nhiễm môi trường đang là một trong những chủ đề nóng, được cả thế giới quan tâm. Một phần nguyên nhân dẫn đến tình trạng ô nhiễm môi trường như hiện nay đó là do bao bì ni lông. Bao bi ni lông là một chất rắn rất khó phân hủy. Nó có thể tồn tại hành nghìn năm trong đất mà vẫn vẹn nguyên như ban đầu. Khi trôi xuống ao, hồ, sông ngòi,.. nó làm cho nguồn nước bị tắc nghẽn. Các loại động vật khi mắc phải ni lông thì khả năng mất đi sự sống rất cao. Bên cạnh đó khi tiêu hủy bao bì ni lông bằng cách đốt đi thì lại gây nguy hiểm đến sức khỏe con người: gây khó thở, các bệnh về hô hấp hoặc thậm chí là ung thư. Ảnh hưởng của bao bì ni lông tới môi trường là vô cùng xấu. Vì vậy chúng ta hãy chung tay hạn chế sử dụng bao bì ni lông. Thay vì dùng túi đựng ni lông thì chúng ta hãy sử dụng các sản phảm từ thiên nhiên. Hãy chung tay loại bỏ bao bì ni lông ra khỏi cuộc sống để bảo vệ chính bản thân ta và môi trường xung quanh.
