| Last Sunday, Lan and her classmates had a very interesting day. They took part in the city’s campaign which is called the Green Sunday. All of them were divided into two groups to march along some main streets in the city. With the slogan “Every day is a Green Sunday“, they tried to make the citizens understand the importance of trees and plants in their lives. Each group came to some houses to sweep their gardens, empty the garbage, grow some plants or trees and killed the mosquitoes around the houses. They also swept and grew trees along the two sides of the streets. |
