How are you? I am in the capital of England — in London. My parents and I always dreamt about seeing this nice city.
There are a lot of beautiful old buildings. We have alredy seen Westminster Abbey, Big Ben (now it called Elizabeth’s Tower), The Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge, The Tower of london and The Waxworks Madame Tussaunds Museum. There are the models of famous people from pop stars to prime ministers made from wax in this museum. They look real. It’s so interesting.
My parents and I are walking on Trafalgar Square now. There is Nelson’s Column in its centre which is guarded by four lion statues at its base. By the way, I sent you this postcard with a picture of Trafalgar Square.
The weather is not fine today, it’s foggy and rainy. But it doesn’t spoil our walking.
We took much photos. Next week we will be at home and I’ll show you them.

Whoever you are, you have the right to dream of your future job. I also have one. That is my desire to become a teacher. Just thinking of my job, I feel so happy.
My friends often ask me that: “Why do you choose teaching?”. I smile. I choose this job, because I love children so much. I want to take care of them, teach them how to read, how to write, how to listen and show them the beautiful things of this life.
Teaching is similar to growing a tree up, you must have patience, carefulness, and passion. And one of the important reasons that makes me choose this job is my parents. They hope that I can complete your dream.
In Việt Nam, the salary of a teacher is quite low, but I still want to become a teacher, simply because I love this job and I believe in my love, as well as my passion for this job. In the future, I will become a good teacher. And now, I’m trying my best to complete the program in university to make my dream come true.

Ở Việt Nam, lương giáo viên khá thấp nhưng tôi vẫn muốn trở thành giáo viên, đơn giản là tôi yêu công việc này và tôi tin vào tình yêu cũng như niềm đam mê của mình dành cho nghề giáo viên. Trong tương lai, tôi sẽ trở thành một giáo viên tốt. Còn bây giờ, tôi đang cố gắng hết mình để hoàn thành chương trình đại học để biến giấc mơ của mình thành sự thật.

Hi, Nick. Last week, I had a summer vacation in Da Lat with my family. We stayed in the weird hotel. That hotel looks like a shoe of the giant. I have never seen a hotel like it. It's in the corner of the city. It isn't a famous hotel so it doesn't cost too much. There are three single rooms and one double room. All of things in that hotel was made from wood. The bed makes me scared because it looks like a real tiger. Very special, isn't it?

All of the special holidays in my country, I Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and buy many things such as clothes, foods ...
Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet. I love Tet holiday!

I feel very excited because our Tet holiday is coming. This year I will learn how to make banh chung from my parents. It must be very interesting. Nhung ạ! Từ lúc Nhung đi rồi lớp mình ai cũng nhắc đến cậu. Chúng mình nhớ nhất là tài kể chuyện tiếu lâm của cậu. Cười vỡ bụng mà cái mặt của cậu vẫn tỉnh queo như không có chuyện gì xảy ra. À này, cậu còn nhớ cô Mĩ Hằng chứ? Cô vẫn dạy lớp Ba, cô hỏi thăm cậu luôn đấy còn thằng Trung "tồ" nó học tiến bộ lắm. Học kì vừa qua, cậu ta xếp thứ mười lăm, cu cậu mừng quýnh. Nó đã hết bệnh ngủ gật trong lớp rồi. Hương "tóc vàng" học vẫn chăm và luôn dẫn đầu lớp. Mình ráng dữ lắm mà cũng đành phải ngậm bồ hòn đứng sau nó một bậc, thế mới tức chứ! Còn này nữa. Vừa rồi hội diễn văn nghệ toàn trường, lớp mình có ba tiết mục: một kể chuyện, một đơn ca và một tiết múa. Đơn ca và múa đạt giải nhất, còn kể chuyện đạt giải ba. Giá như có Hồng Nhung thì giải nhất kể chuyện đã thuộc về lớp mình rồi. Tháng này, lớp mình nhận cờ đỏ. Các bạn mừng lắm. Bố mình bảo, cuối năm mình đạt học sinh giỏi, bố sẽ mua cho một cái máy vi tính vừa học vừa giải trí. Mình đang cố gắng đây. Khi nào có tin vui mình sẽ báo tin liền cho cậu. Cậu cũng phải tranh thủ thì giờ viết thư về kẻo chúng nó mong lắm đấy.

Last summer, I had a wonderful vacation at My Khe beach – Da Nang. We traveled by plane to Da Nang which took us about 2 hours. As soon as I arrived, I could see the large and beautiful sea. And at that moment, I wanted to run quickly to the sea, enjoy the clear blue water and fresh air. The weather in Da Nang was wonderful. There were many people there who swim, bathe, play soccer, windsurf; the children built sandcastles on the sea. My family and I went back to the hotel to put the luggage. Then we ate seafood together. The service here makes me very satisfied. The food was very fresh and deliciously cooked. After eating and resting, we went to the sea. I was immersed in the cool water and the waves. It was great! I also get to meet foreigners. They were tourists and they are very friendly. In the evening we go for a walk at the beach and sing karaoke together on the sand. We stayed in Danang for 3 days. I also went to souvenir shops to buy gifts for my friends. When I got back home I was very happy and a little bit regretful because I couldn’t stay longer. This was the best summer vacation I’ve ever had.
