Dear Donna,

Thanks for your letter. I'm happy to hear that you had a nice Mother’s Day.

I received my second semester report last month. I got good grades for Geography, Physics and Math, but my History and English results were not very good. My former teacher told me that I should improve English and History. I am spending more time on them this summer. And I hope I'll be better at the two subjects next year.

The Mid-Autumn Festival will come in a few weeks. That’s the Moon Festival in Viet Nam. I'm going to Ha Long Bay with my aunt and uncle by bus this afternoon. I'll send you a postcard from there.

____ Dear (Name of friend) I recently visited the Summer Science Museum Exhibition and it was really fun! I have seen so many interesting things that I would love to see again. I went with one of my close friends, and we spent quite a long time getting ready. When we left the weather was really nice and it was really sunny. We went to the museum, and it was really big. It's really easy to get lost in, but we keep it together. First of all we look at all the scientific things, dry as many different things and chemical experiments. We had lunch at the museum, in a special hall. There were so many people, and it was fun! Then we went to the cinema and watched a science movie about planets and the universe. Dear Tu Phong,
How are you? Thank you for your wonderful gift. I think you got an enjoyable summer holiday. And I would like to tell you about my last summer holiday.
I spent my summer holiday with my family in Da Nang for 3 days. That was really great days for me. On the first day, we had a trip to Ba Na Hills. The atmosphere was very fresh, it made me feel good. We visited many places such as Fantasy Park, Debay Cellar, French Village, etc.
On the second day, we went to visit My Son Sanctuary and go swimming in the afternoon. Da Nang beach is very pure and the scene is really beautiful. So I took many nice pictures.
And on the last day, we just walked around the town, enjoy some delicious dishes of Da Nang such as bun Quang, banh trang thit heo, etc and bought some souvenirs. I have a great gift for you. I will send your gift and the beautiful pictures that I took for you.
I really had a great time with my family. Da Nang is a wonderful place and people in here are friendly. I think this is a place I shall never forget. So how is your summer vacation? Write to me and tell me about it.
