Mid Autumn is a special Festival in some countries of Asia in general and VietNam in particular. In fact, Mid Autumn is festival which intended for children. In VietNam, this festival springs from legend : The moon and a kid. The legend explains how the moon is shinest in mid autumn and why people see a banian tree and a kid on the moon. The moon is called Sister Moon and the kid is Cuoi.
Mid Autumn begins from 14 to 15 August, in Vietnamese lunar calendar. In these day, children are going to pick the lantern up and go around streets or towns. Children will be given gifts such as pie, candy, star lantern... They will be seen lion dance or musical concert. Almost children are really into seeing lion dance and follow it that go everywhere. Some children bring a small torch that includes oil and rag to burn. And others bring clarinet and drum to make the festival more eventful.

I and Hung are team mates in our school’s soccer team, and that is the reason we became best friends. At first we did not know each other, but we quickly became close after just a few weeks. I really want to tell you about my friend, one of my best friend is Tuan. We were classmate during our five years at Da Nang University of Technology. He was a good student of my class. He has black hair and bright eyes and is very good – looking. Tuan and I had many things in common, especially, our hobbies. We both traveling, billiard, table tennis, reading book and singing.
He has a kind heart and is easy to get on with everybody. The deeper our mutual understanding becomes the more we feel closely attached to each other. We are the best pupils in our class. Tuan is always at the top. He is good at every subject, but he never shows pride in his abilities and always tries to learn harder.
Tuan’s family is not rich. His parents are farmers. He often spends most of his free time doing useful things to help his parents. I Tuan very much because of his honesty and straight forwardness. Em học buổi sáng và buổi học bắt đầu từ lúc bảy giờ vì đồng hồ báo thức của em luôn được đặt lúc sáu giờ sáng. Đúng giờ, vang vọng đồng hồ báo thức, biểu thức và vai trò của bài học có thể dục buổi sáng quen thuộc chỉ trong năm phút. Sau đó em đi đánh răng, rửa sạch sẽ và ăn sáng. Tô mì nấu với trứng đã được mẹ chuẩn bị sẵn ngay ngắn trên bàn đang chờ em.

Trời khá nắng, nên tranh thủ khi trời không mát, em ngồi vào bàn học xem qua một số bài tập cô giao để giảm nhẹ bài tập vào buổi tối. Mày mò với đống bài tập nhưng mãi mãi không ra em liền gọi Hương - lớp bạn học cùng lớp ở ngay cạnh nhà em chơi và cùng giải bài tập. Khi số bài tập được giải quyết gần hết, Hương về nhà thì em đi cỏ vườn rau và rau giúp mẹ.

Hanoi is also home to many prestigious and well-known universities in the country such as Foreign Trade university, Hanoi university of science and technology, National Economics university, etc. During the day, roads are full with vehicles and traffic congestion, especially is at rush hours, when students go to school and adults go to work. However, at night, Hanoi is more bustling than ever. All the way, the roof are in brightly colorful light, restaurants are on display. At this time, almost everyone has returned home from work, gathering at the edge of the family. After that, they together go shopping, to entertaiment centers and parks to relax after a hard-working day. With me, Hanoi is a great place to live and work. At night wandering in the streets of Hanoi, the smell of milk flowers along the roads makes the soul become strangely peaceful. In the near future, I will build up my own beautiful house there.

I used to attend the Tet Holiday Flower festival. It’s called Nguyen Hue Flower street Festival. It is held in Nguyen Hue Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. It takes place every Tet Holiday for 1 week. It is celebrated by Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. They display and decorate the street with many kinds of flowers and lights. Many people come there to enjoy the beautiful flowers and take pictures.
