My favorite sport is volleyball. I have been passionate about this sport since I was a boy. Growing up, I used to play with my friends after school every hour. We got together on the volleyball court in the school, then split into two teams to play. Every team tries to score points by hitting the ball over the net, and the ball must touch inside the field. If the team bounces off the pitch, the score belongs to the other team. Additionally, each team can get points when their opponent makes a mistake. I can name a few common mistakes when playing this sport such as: the ball hits the outside of the bounds, the ball hits the arm or the net, throws the ball away or catches the ball, … Volleyball’s intentions seem quite complicated, but we still love to play the sport. It has helped me improve and exercise my own health. Besides, it also helps me feel more at ease after every stressful class in class. I love playing volleyball because it gave me a lot of fun and memories with my friends. I hope in the future I can join the competitive school club and win lots of awards. There are many things to tell about my friends. If I think about friendship, I will think about my best friend firstly. Her name is Hoa, one of my schoolmates and we have known each other since we were 10 years old. Everyone would say she is very pretty if they were to describe how she looks. She has black almond-shaped eyes, a small nose, a small pointed chin, and especially long black hair. She is not very tall but not short either, I think such a Vietnamese girl is very nice. She does not like to dress up so her friends usually see her wearing jeans and a T-shirt or sweater. It seems like she and I used to talk or laugh about everything. She has a wonderful sense of humor but she can also get a little depressed sometimes. She and I are interested in many of the same hobbies. We like going to the movies but there are few movies presented in Yenbai. We used to walk around, try to find a new area of Yenbai to explore. We both like traveling, reading, and training to swim. Whatever we did, it seemed always fun to be with her. We still make time to see each other even when our lives get busy now. Since I was better in math and she was better in English, we could help each other if we got confused about a difficult homework assignment. I hope that our friendship will continue and be just as strong although we graduated from high school.

When people use something, ( something is glass bottles, paper – aluminum) we have 2 choices: the first, throw them in the trash and the second , recycle them. which is the solution you choose ?
If you choose the first solution, it means that : the aluminum will go into the landfill. That landfills are toxic and may be dangerous to the environment, because they are very hard to decomposed. It’s worth nothing that, recycling these objects means that their materials will be used again, reducing the need for cutting down trees or mining for materials to make cans. In addition, programs exist that pay people to recycle many of the things that they use, including aluminum cans, glass bottles, cell phones, and some types of scrap metal.
We can choose our solution to protect environment and our life, even small actions also contribute the big goal of human. Let‘s study some of ways to protect the environment and practice when you can, it’s just simple habit to implement in your everyday life which will make a difference.

- Use compact fluorescent light bulbs: it may be more expensive, but it can be used longer, the more money you can save , the more money paid on the electric bill is reduced.

- Rainwater: we can use it for many different purposes.

- Walk or cycle: the car or motorbike is the biggest cause of pollution. we should decrease the amount of usage as much as possible

- Donate: You have tons of clothes or things you want to get rid of. If they are still usable, give them to someone who needs them.. Not only will you protect the environment, but you will also contribute to a good purpose. If you want to throw away somewhere, you will destroy that land.

I usually hear in the everyday news about pollution, and that makes me have awareness in protecting and keeping the environment clean. We can help save the Earth by doing small things, and I am sure that everyone can do that. I always limit the amount of water that I use daily, and I try to reuse the water as much as I can. I also turn on electronics devices only when I am really in need, and I always remember to turn them off before I leave. I choose to use the fan instead of air conditioner in mild days, and I use the natural light to replace the bulb when it is not dark outside. I do not use plastic cups or dishes even if I have a party, and I have a bag to keep on the goods I buy at the markets instead of using plastic bags. They are just small easy habits that I can always do in my daily life, and there is no reason why people cannot do the same to have save the Earth.

In morning, I often get up at seven o’clock or later.I brush my teeth, and then I have breakfast. At 7h30 a.m I go to school (work). I finish my study (work) at 11h30 .I have lunch at 12h30 .I have 1 hour to take a nap. At 1.30 pm, I go to school (work) again. I finish all stuffs at 16h30. I come back home at 17h.I do some sport from 17h30 to 19h .After that, I cook dinner and take a bath. I take 2 hours for relaxing from 20h to 21h30 I go to bed at 21h45 .That’s all. Everyone has one’s favorite pet. As for me, I very love my dog named Pull. The dog is an Alaska dog with straight brown hair, blue eyes and big ear. He is said to be intelligent, loyal and obedient. Moreover, Pull is friendly and well-trained when I said “sit down” or “run around” he will do absolutely true. I remember the first day I have met Pull-my 12 birthday, he is a present given by my father. At that time, Pull was 2 years old, he was small and unfamiliar with my family’s members. Nowadays, he is an adult dog with good health and he seems to be one important member of my whole family. Pull and I usually have wonderful time together we eat, go shopping, walk in the sunrise and sunset, and play in a local park. As I’m the only child in my family, Pull is my best friend. Whenever I have trouble or whatever mistake I do, I always have him by my side. Although he is not able to talk, I feel the love and caring of him for me. Besides, Pull helps my mother much in household, he can hold a heavy bucket of water. Dog is not food; therefore I condemn the action of stealing dog by killing them with electricity in VN and selling it for some taverns. Dog is an animal for people to feed, love and care. Dog is not a product of any individual who wants to earn illegal money from it. Finally, it’s better for a house with a domes dog so that it brings happiness in addition to keeping your house save.

During childhood, I used to feed different kind of pet such as: hamster, dog, rabbit; however, I still my cat the most. Her name is Katy. Her hair consists of three colors white, black and blonde. She has tiny ear, small nose and blue bright eyes, which can glow in the dark. Her hobbies is playing with colors wool rolls and catching mouse. Katy don’t really cat food, she enjoy fish bone, rice and tiny shrimp. Although she eats less, she seems to be energe all day long. Katy and I have great time being together. She is my best friend as she knows how is my inside feeling and sharing my sadness as well as happiness. Whenever I am not in good mood or in trouble, I hug her and feel a cosy breath that sweep all the disappointment. Every evening, I take her for a walk in a local park so that we can enjoy fresh air and she makes more friends with other cats. Cat is an easy-to-feed pet as it is small, obedient. In spite of laziness, it helps us relaxing, protecting house from some insects. Cat is not new to people but its feather is used to make out many cat fur coat and other items of fashion. It is highly recommend that government create a strict law banning on cat thief. Finally, cat is a cute animal; therefore, it needs to be protected and preserved from being eaten and illegally killed.

Mỗi buổi chiều, tôi đi dạo với nó tại một công viên địa phương để được hít thở không khí trong lành và giúp nó kết than với những chú mèo khác. Mèo là loài vật dễ nuôi vởi vì nó nhỏ và biết vâng lời. Mặc dù lười biếng nhưng nó luôn tạo cho ta cảm giác thoải mái và giữ nhà sạch sẽ bởi các loại côn trùng. Mèo không còn xa lạ với con người nhưng lông của chúng bị dung làm những chiếc áo lông và nhiều phụ kiện thời trang khác. Chính phủ nên ban hành những luật nghiêm khắc lên kẻ trộm mèo. Cuối cùng, mèo là loai đọng vật dễ thương nên nó cần được bảo vệ và gìn giữ khỏi bị bắt và giết trái pháp luật.

Nowadays, the Internet has become a bridge that connects people all over the world. Besides its paramount importance, it also poses hidden risks to users. In the first place, it can put severe strains on our family and social relationships. If users are addicted to the Internet, they have a tendency to separate from our real world and immerse themselves into a virtual world. As a result, nothing is of no interest to them at all. Secondly, the Internet also exerts a strong influence on the efficiency of work. Take students as an example, at class, they prefer to think about online video games, films,... rather than listening to what their teachers are saying. This will seriously result in their studying quality. Moreover, the dependence on the Internet can be a major obstacle to developing people’s creativity. Instead of thinking independently, people often take advantage of diverse sources of information on the Internet to finish their tasks as soon as possible. Last but not least, our personal information can be leaked due to hackers or loose control of data security organizations. This can put us in danger and indirectly affect our life. JK, how are you now? I'm very happy because of the letter you sent me last week. Do you have any plan for this summer? If you are free, let's visit my hometown. Da Nang is very beautiful and interesting. It is famous for many delicious food and many entertainment centres. I think you will like this. In the morning, I will take you to some attractive places in Da Nang such as Ngu Hanh Son, Son Tra Peninsula, Ba Na Mountain,... because your hobby is taking pictures about scenery. Do you know? The scenery in Da Nang city is really wonderful. After that, I will take you to some well-known restaurants to eat. You should try the food here because it is so tasty. You can choose the restaurant you like. In the afternoon, we will go to the cinema to see your favourite film. We can also go to the entertainment centre to go shopping, playing games, etc,... Especially, in the evening, we will see firework at Han River Bridge and eat something. Beside that, if you want, I will take you to the park to play. When you come to my hometown, you can stay at my home. We will have more time to talk together about our studying and working. My parents will be very happy if you come.
