If I were a the president,
- I would increase taxes on cars and using that money to invest in environmentally-friendly forms of transportation are the most cited policies a green President would implement.
- I would accomplish this by encouraging the use of alternative fuel sources such as wind, solar, geothermal and water to save our planet from pollution.
- I would establish tax credits to develop environmentally friendly energy sources and train workers for “green” jobs.
- I would prioritise raising awareness about waste so that individuals and businesses re-assess how they think of waste – not as a fait accompli or end point, but as an opportunity.
- I would seek to encourage communities to get more involved in environmental issues and try and instil a greater community spirit and sense of pride among people in how their area looks
