I was born and raised in Bac Giang province. My family has six people, and they are my grandfather, my parents, my elder sister, my younger sister and I. My father is hard on us, and he usually has a strict look. I know he loves us very much, but he is sometimes stern because he wants us to learn good things. My mother is in the opposite side of him. She is a very gentle woman, and she always takes good care of the family. Most of the time she is our advocate when one of us is being scolded. The fights over silly things between my sister and I are usually the biggest reason why we are in trouble. However, we also show the love of siblings by sharing almost everything we have. My grandfather is 80 years old, and he starts to have some signs of absent-mindedness. Although he sometimes forgets, she often calls us and talks to us as if we are still small kids. Next year I am going to be away from home for college, and I think I will miss my family a lot. I promise myself to study well and finish my program quickly so that I can find a job near home to take care of my family.

ba em làm kỹ sư điện trong một công ty nên phải đi lên miền núi thường xuyên. Mẹ em làm giáo viên nên đi dạy suốt, nhưng em rất vui vì là học trò của mẹ, được mẹ chỉ bảo rất nhiều.
Mỗi lần mẹ em đi chợ về, anh ba bao giờ cũng phần quà bánh cho em nhiều hơn. Chị cả thì một năm về được có một lần vào dịp Tết. Bởi vậy em rất nhớ và mong chị về thường xuyên. Chị hai thì vài tháng mới về một lần. Ở nhà chơi với em chỉ còn anh ba. Nhưng anh cũng đi học suốt nên em chới với mấy bạn hàng xóm.
Ba em thường xuyên đi công tác xa nhà, cũng ít về thăm nhà. Gia đình bao giờ cũng chỉ có 3 mẹ con quây quần bên mâm cơm. Mỗi lần có ba về là không khí gia đình rộn ràng, vui tươi hơn hẳn. Đặc biệt khi gia đình em có đủ 6 người thì lúc đó mới thực sự hạnh phúc và vui vẻ đến vô cùng. Tiếng cười của gia đình em dường như lan sang cả nhà hàng xóm bên cạnh. Nhưng cả nhà em đều không quan tâm vì ai cũng thấy niềm vui được sum vầy là điều thực sự nên trân trọng.

My favorite time of the day is dinner time, because the whole family will all gather after a long day staying out. We spend that little time to talk about our days and share funny stories.
