I have a bestfiend and also a neighborhood whoes name is Tuan. His age is the same as mine but he looks older than me. Because he’s very tall and thin, everybody calls him “a palm”. Tuan has a short curly hair and beautiful chestnut brown eyes that appeal of many girls. He is a person of very few words that makes him to be a good listener. Anyone, who has ever contacted with Tuan, thinks about him as a glacial boy. In fact he’s really warm and nice. He’s willing to help people whenever possible. When I was in secondary school, I found Math was very difficult to understand but Tuan solved the Math problems so fast. He spent all seven nights of weeks to help me in Math while he could go out to relax. Tuan was a good all-rounder exception English. Most of the teachers in school and parents highly appreaciated his talent. Only a month ago, he received two full scholarships from America Government to study oversea but he has not yet decided whether he should go or not. Although he has not spent much time to take part in sport activities, he is a well football player. We were in Ha Noi Young Football Team when we were in grade 10. Everything seems perfect to my bestfriend but he’s very modest and always talks to himself to give more effort. I’m proud of Tuan and pray for the good things beside him forever.

After stress and pressure in life, one always has a place to come back called home. I love decorating my own bedroom. My bedroom is on the second floor near my parents’ bedroom. There is a double bed for my younger sister and me. I usually lie above her so that it is easier for me to study late at night without annoying her. The room has a big wood wardrobe, which contains all of our clothes such as: dress, jean, t-shirt and sock. Moreover, the room is designed with pink and deep blue so it brings us cozy and fresh feeling when putting step into it. The bathroom is in my room too. It is quite small but always clean and restful as we tidy it up every week. My father suggests having a bathtub; however, we don’t agree since we enjoy having a shower instead of lying in tub. Bedroom is a resting place after a hard studying day; hence we always clean it up so that it is neat and comfortable.

Last Sunday, my class organized a trip to Son Tinh Island camp. We set off at 5 hours and it took us 3 hours to get there. On arrival, everyone was quite excited and happy. That day, the weather was very beautiful, the air here is fresh. On the island there are many stilt houses and swings. We were assigned to build tents. Then, all of us paripated in some amazing games such as cat chasing mouse, hide and seek, ... Everyone was all excited and active. Someone losing must receive fines, that make the cow face. It looks so funny. On that day, the teacher also celebrated a birthday for some of our classmates. At noon, most people feel hungry, we return to the tent, eat the food prepared from the day before, then, tell stories and sing, take pictures together. In the afternoon, we were cruising by boat. This was the first time I've experienced go on water surface, it feels great. At 5 o'clock, we all had to arrange luggage to come back home. I bought myself some lovely souvenirs. On the way, looking at the island away, I hope that there will be more interesting excursions this.

Chủ nhật tuần trước, lớp mình tổ chức một chuyến đi dã ngoại đến đảo Sơn Tinh camp. Chúng mình xuất phát từ lúc 5 giờ và phải mất 3 tiếng mới đến nơi. Trên đường đi, mọi người đều khá hồi hộp và háo hức. Hôm ấy, trời rất đẹp, không khí trong lành. Trên đảo có rất nhiều nhà sàn và xích đu. Chúng mình được phân công dựng lều. Sau đó, mình tham gia những trò chơi tập thể như mèo đuổi chuột, bịt mắt bắt dê,... Các bạn đều rất hào hứng và thích thú. Một số bạn thua phải chịu phạt, làm mặt con bò rất buồn cười. Hôm ấy, cô giáo còn tổ chức sinh nhật cho một số bạn trong lớp. Đến trưa, đa số mọi người đều cảm thấy đói, chúng mình trở về lều, ăn những thức ăn đã được chuẩn bị sẵn từ hôm trước, sau đó, ngồi kể chuyện và ca hát, chụp ảnh chung. Buổi chiều, chúng mình được dạo biển bằng tàu thủy. Đây là lần đầu mình được trải nghiệm đi trên mặt nước, cảm giác vô cùng tuyệt vời. Đến 5 giờ, mọi người phải thu xếp hành lí để trở về, mình mua được một số món quà lưu niệm nhỏ. Trên đường đi, nhìn bóng hòn đảo xa dần, mình mong rằng sẽ có nhiều hơn nữa những chuyến dã ngoại lí thú như vầy.

My house also has a small garden with some trees and flowers that my husband is planted. My house isn’t large but it very beautiful, and I love this house so much. My mother is a person I admire most. She devoted a lot of time and energy to the upbringing of my brother and I. Despite working hard, she always made time to teach us many useful things which are necessary and important in our later lives. Moreover, she is a good role model for me to follow. She always tries to get on well with people who live next door and help everyone when they are in difficulties, so most of them respect and love her. I admire and look up to my mother because she not only brings me up well but also stands by me and gives some help if necessary. For example, when I encounter some difficulties, she will give me some precious advice to help me solve those problems. Everyday morning, I get up at 5:30. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I usually have breakfast at 6:30 a.m. I go to work by motorbike and be there at about 7:15 a.m. It takes me about 15 minutes from my house to get to my school. I usually start my work at 7:30 a.m. I stop at 11:45 a.m for my lunch in my school office. In the afternoon, I finish my work at 5:30 p.m, then I go home. I always spend my time on cooking dinner for my small family and we usually have dinner at 7:30 p.m. After dinner, we often watch TV and play with our son. After that, I always prepare my lessons plan and go to bed at 11:00 pm. On weekends, I usually go out with my family or friends.

The name of my school is Nguyen Binh Khiem High School. It is situated in the suburb of Hai Phong city. It is considered to be one of the finest schools in the city, highly acclaimed for its excellent for number of talented students. The school building is an impressive structure. It consists of four three – floor blocks and has about 36 classrooms. Classrooms are spacious and airy.
Two staircases at both ends lead to the floors. The school has a well-equipped library, a well- established science laboratory and two excellent computer room, all of which are situated on the a separate block.
There is an area for learning physical education and sports. Two cemented basketball courts stand in the right corner, while the school’s football field is in the center of the area. On the left center, there are two courts for badminton and volleyball. A small garden full of flower plants surrounds the school building adding to the charm and beauty of the entire complex.
My school has over 1200 students. Our headmaster is an experienced and efficient person who has been at his job for the last 10 years and more. Under his able direction, the school has been obtaining many good result and gain the dispute in the city. The teachers here are well-experienced and knowledgeable in their subjects.
A lot of emphasis are given to character formation, moral education and acquiring good values of life. Although the school environment is rather strict and time-table based, but there is lot of fun and joy in the school. Matches, tournaments, musical shows, competitions, events, etc. make my school life lively, interesting and enjoyable.

I have a memorable childhood which has many experiences. One of the experiences I remember most is the first time I was invited to a birthday party. I was a 6-year-old girl and I had a bestfriend whose name is Lisa. We were very close and seemed we couldn’t live without each other until her birhtday. It was a beautiful morning when Lisa invited me to her birthday party and had no idea about how great her party would be if she didn’t ask me to attend. I was very happy and decided to make my bestfriend surprise by giving her a puppy as a present. Lisa didn’t dog or any animal but I almost forgot about that. I was confident to give her my present in her birthday and immediately realized that she didn’t my little dog which I myself chose to buy 3 days ago. While the party was going on, I stood in a corner of the room and watched how much she loved other normal presents such as teddy bear, dolls or crayons. I felt dissapointed but that was not the worst thing. About 20 mintues later, Lisa’s father gave a sign that was the time to taking out a birthday cake. It was the biggest birthday cake I had ever seen. The light went off. As soon as it went on, somebody screamed “It’s a puppy in the cake”. Everyone was surprise and they recognized that was my puppy. They looked at the puppy and then looked at me. I glanced to Lisa. She said nothing and about to cried. I was very confused and ashamed. I carried my puppy, said sorry to Lisa and ran out of the party. I couldn’t believe that I had just broken my bestfriend’s birthday cake because of a silly decision. I learned that never bring any animal with me to a party, especially bestfriend’s birthday party. It’s an experience that I won’t forget for the rest of my life. Luckily Lisa forgave me and we are still friend up to now. She always reminded me about her 6th birthday and we laughed a lot.

Trong cuộc đời mỗi con người, chúng ta chắc hẳn luôn có những người bạn giúp chúng ta vượt qua những khó khăn và kề bên mỗi khi gặp chuyện vui cũng như chuyện buồn. Em cũng không phải là ngoại lệ, cũng có một người bạn thân luôn sẻ chia và giúp đỡ mỗi khi em gặp khó khăn. Kha – đó là tên đứa bạn thân nhất của em.
Kha năm nay bằng tuổi em, cũng là mười tuổi. Kha có nước da trắng như trứng gà bóc cùng dáng người thanh mảnh. Lúc nào đến lớp bạn cũng gọn gàng trong bộ đồng phục áo trắng quần đen, mái tóc dài được búi gọn gàng sau gáy. Kha có khuôn mặt bầu bĩnh và đôi mắt biết nói. Đôi mắt bạn to tròn lấp lánh ánh cười luôn cong cong như vầng trăng khuyết, nó như biết nói biết cười, biết sẻ chia mỗi khi em buồn và cổ vũ mỗi khi em gặp chuyện vui. Giọng nói của Kha trong trẻo như tiếng chim vàng oanh mỗi sáng, bạn đừng lầm tưởng rằng giọng nói ấy sẽ chua ngoa nhé. Bởi vì giọng nói ấy rất truyền cảm và vô cùng thu hút. Kha thường kể cho chúng em nghe những câu chuyện ma mà bạn ấy biết, với chất giọng ly kì hấp dẫn, nó luôn làm chúng em hét toáng mỗi khi đến đoạn cao trào. Đổi lấy một tiếng cười vang nhí nhảnh của nó là bộ mặt hoảng hồn của mấy đứa chúng em.
Thú thật lúc đầu em cũng không thích Kha bởi vì người đâu mà vừa học giỏi vừa xinh lại còn hát hay nữa. Không những thế ba mẹ lại rất hay lôi Kha ra để so sánh với em làm em cảm thấy rất bực bội cùng tủi thân bởi chẳng một đứa trẻ nào thích bị bố mẹ so sánh với bạn bè đâu, đặc biệt là trong khi đứa trẻ ấy còn không thích cô bạn kia nữa. Và có lẽ em vẫn sẽ ghét Kha như vậy nếu không có chuyện xảy ra lần đó.
Hôm ấy là một buổi sáng mùa đông lạnh lẽo, từng cơn gió bấc rít gào bên ô cửa sổ khiến em run lên. Chẳng hiểu sao chiều hôm trước em còn khỏe mạnh, chạy từ đầu sân đến cuối sân chơi trò đuổi bắt với anh trai mà ngày hôm sau đã ốm đến không dậy nổi. Em mệt mỏi mở to đôi mắt thẫn thờ nhìn bầu trời xám đen bên ngoài ô cửa, lòng nghĩ thầm cách để đến lớp mà không làm phiền ai. Mùa đông đến, em biến thành con sâu lười ham ngủ, chính vì vậy mà em luôn là nguời ngủ dậy muộn nhất nhà. Ba mẹ thường cùng anh trai em ăn sáng rồi đi học, đi làm em dậy sau nên sẽ ăn sáng sau rồi tự đi học. Nếu không phải hôm nay trường anh em tổ chức làm tình nguyện nên phải đi từ sớm thì nếu không anh sẽ không để em như thế này mà đến trường. Em đang đau đầu định bước xuống giường thì nghe thấy tiếng của Kha vọng từ bên ngoài vào:
- Lan ơi, cậu không đi bây giờ là cậu muộn học đấy!
Em muốn nói thật to cho nó rằng tớ đang bị ốm nhưng lời nói chẳng thể nào thoát ra khỏi cổ họng được. Chờ mãi không thấy ai trả lời, lại thấy đèn nhà em đang sáng, nó tò mò bước vào nhà không quên kèm theo câu: “Cháu xin phép ạ.”. Vào đến phòng em nó hoảng hốt chạy vào, hết sờ mặt lại sờ đến trán:

Tất cả là nhờ có sự tận tâm giúp đỡ của Kha, cuối học kì I vừa rồi chúng em đã đứng trong top 10 của lớp và được các thầy cô tuyên dương là đôi bạn cùng tiến đấy!
