THE GENERATION GAP
people talk about the generation as a kind of division between young people and their parents. It is something which is (GENERAL) generally a problem when children enter their teenage years, and results in (COMPLAIN) complaints on both sides. Parents, for example, can often be heard to say that young people are disrespectful and disobedient, and in (ADD) addition, young people tend to be (RESPONSIBLE) irresponsible when spending because they don't appreciate the value of money. Adolsescents, on the other hand, complain that their parents don't understand them.
What has gone wrong? One (EXPLAIN) explanation lies in how society has changed in the past , children would (TYPICAL) typically continue the way of life of their parents. In today's world, parents are very (AMBITION) ambitious for their children because they want them to achieve more than they did. The problem is that children often (AGREE) disagree with their parent's plans. (TEENAGE) Teenagers also reach maturity at an (EARLY) earlier age than they used to and want their independence sooner. The resulting conflict is painful to both sides.
Dear Mr ..... ,
I am writing this letter to complain about the factory near our village which has caused much air and water pollution. The factory is dumping a large amount of fumes into the air, which cause the respitory deseases of some villagers. Moreover, the factory also discharges harmful chemical waste into our village lake. It killed a lot of fish and now, no one can use the water from the lake because it is poisonous.
We all think the factory should be responded for their unconcious, dangerous and irresponsible action. We also believe the People's Committee should make the decision of punishing the factory heavily and prohibit them from contaminating the environment again in order to protect the villagers' lives.
We look forward to hearing from you and hope you will give the factory the right punishment.
Yours sincerely,
.........

Although some groups of people (0) have always lived outdoors in tents, camping as we (1) know it today (2)began to be popular about 50 years ago. The increase in the use of cars and improvements in camping equipment (3) have allowed more people to travel longer distances into the countryside and (4) to stay there in greater comfort.
Many campers like (5) to be themselves in quiet areas, so they take their tent and food and walk or cycle into the forests or the mountains. Others, (6) prefering to be near people, (7) drive to a public or privately-owned campsite which (8) has up-to-date facilities, like hot shower and swimming pools.
Whether campers are separate in the mountain or on a busy site, they should (9) remember to keep the area clean and tidy. In the forests, they must put out any fires and keep food hidden to avoid (10) attracting animals.
Dear Mr. President,
I am writing to you about the catching of fish of many people in the lake behind my house.
I am very worried because they use electricity to catch fish. After a short time they left the lake, a lot of small fish died and floated on the water surface. Other animals such as frogs, toads and even birds also died from electric shock waves.
I would suggest the local authorities should prohibit and fine heavily anyone using this way of catching fish.
I look forward to hearing from you and seeing the protection of environment from the local authority.
Sincerely,...
