There are a lot of volunteer activities in Des Moines. One of my favorites is Meals from the Heartland. Meals from the Heartland allows volunteers to pack meals for the needy. Each shift is only 2 hours long. However, I always want to stay longer because it's fun to help people. These meals then will be shipped out to the needy ones in the city, in different states, and around the world. Meals from the Heartland is one of many fun and helpful volunteer activities in Des Moines.

In Vietnam, almost everyone, has been a volunteer work and I have too. At my age, I have not been donate blood so I often donate books, toys and clothes for street children and homeless people. I often do this work with my mother. Latest here on Sunday, I with my mother was used to donate books and clothes for a charity organization. In here, I met the orphans children. I played with them. Then I gave candies to them. They were all very happy.
Some people think doing volunteer work is waste of time but in my opinion, doing volunteer work help me relax after school and it help me healthy. When I doing this work, I feel very happy to bring happiness to them

Being a volunteer is one of the best things you can do with your life. It's a great way to help other people. It's also very satisfying to know that you are not wasting your time and are helping people who need help.Many of us could and should be out there doing voluntary activities of some kind. So many volunteer organizations need extra hands. It really is easy. Just pick up the phone and offer your services.I think too many of us settle into a lazy lifestyle. We just want to come home and watch TV. Life is much more interesting when you're a volunteer.I've found it really opens your eyes to how some people live. It's sometimes sad to see how the government lets people down, but at least I'm doing my bit.

There are a lot of activities that you can do in your leisure time. Some people are so tired of work that they prefer to use their free time just for resting and sleeping. Others spend their free time on their favourite activities. For example, they listen to music, play their favourite musical instrument, go on a picnic, take a trip, go to the nature and enjoy the fresh air, hang out with their friends, go partying, go shopping, visit their relatives, spend some time with their kids and play games with them, read and write, watch TV, watch movies or cartoons, go to the theatre, surf the net, cook, do some gardening, etc. Some people like me choose sports to enjoy their free time. I like living in the countryside because of some reasons. Environmentally speaking, it is a peaceful place. The air is fresh. The space is quiet. We can enjoy healthy natural conditions without
worrying much about environmental pollution.
As for social security, the countryside is a safer place than a city. While urban security situation is always complicated with all kinds of crimes, rural areas are much more secure because most of countrymen are friendly and ready to help one another.
Moreover, rural life is also easier that in cities. People in cities are easy to get stressed because of pollution, job pressures, competitions, etc ... On the contrary, those bad things
are very rare in the countryside. To sum up, except income matters, the countryside is a better residence than cities.

I feel happy when taking part in it because it makes me exited and helps me remember about my childish.

I have a timetable.
I often get up at half past five. Than, I brush my teeth, wash my face , get dressed, have breakfast and go to school. I go to school by bike and learn at school from seven o' clock to half past eleven o' clock . I go home and have lunch at twelve o' clock. I take a rest until half past one then go to school in the afternoon. My classes start at two p.m and finish at half past four in the afternoon. Then , I go home with my close friend. After school, I often listen to music or play sports. I have dinner at seven o'clock . I do my homework from seven thirty to ten o'clock in the evening. I go to bed with my grandmother at a quarter past ten.

Today is Sunday. I am doing my homework. My father is cleaning the floor. My mother is cooking in the kitchen. My grandma is reading a book about Uncle Ho. And my younger sister is playing toys. Now my puppy is sleeping beside me, and I should keep quiet so she can sleep peacefully. Today is such a happy day.

All of the special holidays in my country, I Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and buy many things such as clothes, foods ...
Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. On the New Ther'Eve, whole family for reguin dinner.Every members of the family should be present during the dinner.On the New Year Moring,the young members of family pay their respect to the elders. There are a lot of activities that you can do in your leisure time. Some people spend their leisure time to resting and sleeping after they going back to their workplace.Others spend their free time on their favourite activities. For example: they often listenning to music, hang out with their friendsl, go on a picnic, travel , go partying…Some people like me choose sports to enjoy their free time, among different kinds of sports, I often go to swimming.
When you go to swimming, it help you fresher, more than taller and relax. When you swimming , you need all of your body activities maximum so it will very great for your nerve as much as your body.

My favorite hobby is playing football in spare time. After completing my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing football. I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and participate in the inter-school competitions.

Sở thích yêu thích của tôi là chơi đá bóng vào thời gian rảnh. Sau khi hoàn thành hết bài tập về nhà, tôi hay dùng thời gian rảnh để chơi đá bóng. Tôi đã rất hứng thú với việc chơi bóng từ hồi còn rất nhỏ dẫu vệ tôi bắt đầu học cách chơi bóng tử tế khi tôi 5 tuổi. Tôi đi học khi toou 5 tuổi. Cha tôi nói với thầy giáo ở PTM của tôi về sở thích bóng đá của tôi. Và thầy tôi bảo ông rằng có 1 trung tâm thể thao nhỏ mở cử hàng ngày ở trường giành cho các em lớp 1 trở lên vì vậy anh có thể cho con trai mình tham gia. Giờ đây, tôi thật sự thích chơi bóng đá và tham gia vào các cuộc thi liên trường.
